footage berlin, run by rbb media, exclusively features and licenses the TV programmes of Berlin-Brandenburg Broadcasting Archive (rbb) and the German Broadcasting Archive (archive of the former GDR).

Our television archives contain unique images of Berlin history as well as unknown gems of city life dating from 1952 to the present. Everthing that shapes Berlin is featured in our collections: its history as a once divided and now reunified city, tragic escapes, the Cold War, pictures of East and West growing together, politics, culture, tourism, and nature.

To give customers an impression of our material, footage berlin provides its customers with a selection of unique stock footage online since June 2017. The selection on footage-berlin.com will be gradually expanded.
