Hollywood Newsreel began in the early 1950's and is known for having pioneered the Entertainment News program format. The archive spans over five decades of Hollywood related shows, news stories and entertainment industry events.

Some of the highlights include in-depth coverage of the Academy Awards, Emmy's and Grammy's, the Beatles first concert at the Hollywood Bowl, as well as hundreds of movie premieres, Walk of Fame Star ceremonies and Chinese Theater footprint ceremonies.
