EYE Filmmuseum is the national filmmuseum of the Netherlands and was founded in 1946.

The EYE depots store more than 62,000 kilometers of film – nearly 40,000 film titles from Dutch and international film history, dating from 1895 to today. All genres are represented: fiction, documentaries, newsreels, silent films, travelogues, scientific films, experimental films, animations, commercials, corporate films, and found footage.

Conservation and restoration of the collection is one of EYE's most important tasks for which they have won prestigious international awards.

EYE provides high-quality conservations, and our 2K scans can be delivered in many different formats. 4K scans are also possible. Since we have the original nitrate and acetate prints, it is always possible to go back to the source and make a new digitization in the newest standard.
