Larry Semon, Lucille Carlisle, Frank Alexander, Bill Hauber, Pete Gordon, Monty Banks. 01:00:57:00 B W 1920 ws Large general store crowded with people 01:01:33:00 B W 1920 ms Semon driving car using legs on steering wheel while he reads newspaper 01:02:43:00 B W 1920 ws Semon while kissing girl's hand hits hole in road sending himself and the girls he has in car flying all over the road 01:04:10:00 B W 1920 ws Semon cranks engine as girl holds steering wheel...car takes off chased by Semon who jumps in back trying to steer leaning over girl...car races into town and hits rear end of fat man sending him flying into sacks of flour 01:05:04:00 B W 1920 ws ms Semon weighs potatoes for customer...sends them in wire basket to balcony...runs up stairs puts them in bag and sends them back down...runs down and gives bag to customer 01:06:12:00 B W 1920 ms Man trying to steal crackers finds hand stuck to flypaper 01:06:52:00 B W 1920 ws Cat jumping on counter lands on flypaper...Semon cuts away paper leaving piece on each paw which makes cat walk in very awkward fashion 01:08:30:00 B W 1920 ms Cat knocks over jug of molasses? on balcony which drips on sleeping man...he pulls cloth to wipe himself but pulls jug down on his head...he is picked up and thrown on a pushcart which goes out door and dumps him in mud 01:10:35:00 B W 1920 ms Semon takes apple to use as baseball...boss catches him so he switches to making apple disappear by throwing it up on balcony where it knocks over pitcher and basin which fall on bosses head 01:12:13:00 B W 1920 ws Semon knocks away ladder man is standing on to fill bag with flour from barrel...he puts man's feet on his shoulders but man pulls over barrel spilling flour over the black customer 01:13:16:00 B W 1920 ws Semon picks up knocked over section of stovepipe...he holds pipe in front of electric fan which blows cloud of soot over customers and boss...putting pipe in barrel he tries to help to no avail...he picks up pipe now loaded with flour again standing in front of fan sprays the people with flour 01:14:14:00 B W 1920 ws Boss throws bag of flour at Semon which misses and hits man about to throw box at Semon 01:16:31:00 B W 1920 ws ms Semon fills can with gasoline not noticing can has bad leak...customer asks Semon for match to light pipe...Semon uses match to light cigarette after lighting pipe and throws match into puddle left by leaking can...flame follows trail of spilled gas blowing up man's car and leaving his clothes in shreds...man is still smoking pipe 01:18:35:00 B W 1920 ms cu Semon cuts the cheese...wedge moves away as he tries to wrap it...mice come out of holes in cheese...mouse bites tail of cat...every body chases after mice and cat 01:20:40:00 B W 1920 ws Postmistress jumps off safe onto two robbers who have just robbed her and knocks them both around 01:20:55:00 B W 1920 ws Mouse drops off tail of cat clinging to ceiling beam and falls into hair of man below...Semon hits man on head with a jug trying to kill mouse 01:21:15:00 B W 1920 ws Postmistress gets gun and retrieves loot 01:21:22:00 B W 1920 ws ms Chased mouse runs into mouth of black man 01:21:40:00 B W 1920 ws Semon runs into post office upsetting the situation and thief grabs gun and shoots at him...he runs out...man grabs him but thief shoots thru the door hitting man in the rear 01:22:11:00 B W 1920 ws Semon and policemen chase thieves using a wagon pulled by a motorcycle 01:22:40:00 B W 1920 ws Wagon comes loose from motorcycle on a hill...it rolls down hill and thru the wall of general store out thru the front door and over a ledge into a lake 01:23:01:00 B W 1920 ws Thieves vehicle runs into and knocks down telegraph pole 01:23:44:00 B W 1920 ws Thief throws rock at Semon but misses and hits other thief who is about to throw barrel...he does terrific back somersault 01:24:04:00 B W 1920 ws Semon chases thief up rope of tall tower...thief cuts rope...Semon falls on other thief 01:24:50:00 B W 1920 ws Semon puts kegs of blasting powder around legs of tower...thief drops rope around Semon and hauls him up tower while he lowers himself down...thieves finish putting blasting powder in place 01:26:22:00 B W 1920 ws Semon on tower roof uses rope to lasso second tower and swings away just as first tower explodes...he swings to top of third tower...a thief climbs up to get him...Semon kicks him off...thief puts blasting powder around new tower...tower blows and Semon swings to away and lands in postmistresse's vehicle...he gives her recovered loot
