A MAN IN MILWAUKEE HAS DIED AFTER CRASHING HIS CAR DURING A POLICE CHASE.
OFFICERS SAY WHEN THEY TRIED TO PULL THE SUSPECT OVER FOR SPEEDING, HE ONLY INCREASED HIS SPEED AND EVENTUALLY LOST CONTROL.

--REPORTER PKG-AS FOLLOWS--
Rojas-Castillo: "West Allis Police say this happened just before one o'clock this morning right near where we are at 43rd and Oklahoma. They say officers were conducting an OWI when a pickup truck sped past them at 57th and Lincoln."
IN THIS SURVEILLANCE FOOTAGE TAKEN BY A CAMERA AT A HOME ACROSS THE STREET, YOU CAN SEE THE MOMENT OF THE CRASH.
POLICE SAY AN OFFICER CHASED AFTER THE TRUCK AND TRIED TO CONDUCT A TRAFFIC STOP.
WHEN IT DIDN'T STOP, THEY SAY IT SPED UP RUNNING A RED LIGHT HERE AT 43RD AND OKLAHOMA.
THE TRUCK WAS THEN HIT BY ANOTHER CAR BEFORE POLICE SAY THE DRIVER LOST CONTROL AND HIT A PARKED CAR BEFORE CRASHING INTO THE TREE.
DALE CZARNECKI SAYS HE WAS SLEEPING AND DIDN'T HEAR THE CRASH BUT SAYS HE WAS SURPRISED BY ALL THE COMMOTION WHEN HE WOKE UP.
Czarnecki: "To tell you the truth, I didn't know about it until about 6:30 in the morning when I got up and I came to water my flowers and I see all this tape across the road, cops got the road blocked off, a car, you know, on the neighbor's lawn, another car totaled out in the middle of the road."
WEST ALLIS POLICE SAY THE DRIVER OF THE CAR, A 24-YEAR-OLD MILWAUKEE MAN, DIED AT THE SCENE.
NO ONE ELSE WAS HURT AND THE MILWAUKEE POLICE DEPARTMENT IS NOW LEADING THE CRASH INVESTIGATION.
